They get away with everything PM...the wicker baskets in 'their' room packed with the girls teddies are scattered teddies have been attacked viciously on the bed ...socks all over the house as they like to hunt them...they have just turned their little noses up at yet another brand of premier dry kitten food (the second one rejected) just now I saw one of my best bras disappearing around the corner of the kitchen the little so and so's brought it all the way down from upstairs!
You don't give up do you? As the folks hereabouts say you're too, too kind
That is really interesting. I originally thought that I was the only person this happened to. It is actually really good to know that it is how the body works because, perhaps, the body has no other way to deal with the excess protein safely - so the glucose can either be stored or used as fuel. Quite clever really. That happened to me once in aTurkish restaurant when I ordered lamb steak and salad. They actually served three smallish steaks and it was so lovely I ate it all. My BG after two hours really shot up. When I eat out now I find the portions larger than at home so take that on board.
Great FBG and readings generally. The only times I have had FBGs in the 4s was when I was on hols in Cornwall and eating fish and well drinking like one every nightPosting a bit late but 5.4 today, an improvement on yesterday. What's even better is that I have had my first ever reading in the 3s today. Measured 3.8 around 2:30. Mind you unintentionally missed lunch to achieve that.
Ah! A pheasant plucker - Do you sift thistles?Oh I’m so behind! Keep trying to catch up so I’m just going to post now and work backwards.
This morning brought forward a 4.9 Today will involve the gym, Asda and attempting not to ruin the brace of pheasants Mr C plucked and prepared yesterday.

..and today out with Laurne again for indian..
again a masalla dosa, one BIG tiger Cobra beer,
but NO rice..
tested once home, on my NEW meter...5.3
old meter just to cross check...5.4....whoop whoop
new meter the updated Code free the NAVII
If you cal home health or email and explain you want to buy 100 strips, they give you a link
(was one posted on another thread but i couldn't get it to work)
IF you buy the 100 strips on there WITH the meter, at payout they deduct the meter costs,
so i paid £12..£6 a pot for the strips (50 in each pot) plus one new Meter.
And the meter comes with 10 and all you need (battery, lancets, etc)
supposedly MORE accurate and needs less bloods,
never had an issue with the old one, but hey it was a good deal AND it's new and shiny..whats NOT to Like..
Chap next to us, with work colleague i think, not sure what to have.she.advised the dosa.I do like a nice crispy dustbin lid of a dosa, brilliant. We have some friends who have a dosa place in Sheffield.
Congrats on the twin-o-meter readings
They wait by the tumble dryer when I open the door...watch the washing machine though it's various cycles...I have to double check I've closed both the doors or I know they'd be straight in there...actually now you've mentioned it it's gone very quiet there I must check on them...they had a massive cuddle session last night what you can't see is my leg underneath their little bodies...they were like little angels until almost 10:30pm...then it was mayhem!do you have problems emptying the tumble dryer?
What do you mean Saskia...that is Charlie & Lola
Some houses were not built with 3 bins in mind, ours is one of them. Then having seen the video of bins breaking for freedom this morning, I had a brain wave, don't have those very often. The old corner seat is now a bin store, bins can't escape, they are well hidden and my carbon footprint must be well ahead for the year, dead chuffed, just needs a coat of paint.
So here is the transformation, took me most of the day though. Oh, and before you ask this is a picture of me and Mrs MC 2 years ago when we were a bit chunky, I am now 11st 7lbs and Mrs MC 7 st 11lbs
