Hi PM@poemagraphic it great to see you on this thread but even greater to see the progress you have made. Keep us in the loop. All best wishes.
Quote from 'The diabetic specialist' after downloading my reader readings...
"In my twelve years of working in this field this is the best set of figures I have seen. I have only seen two or three other sets of readings that come anywhere close to this in all that time!"
He went on to say... "I want you to stop taking insulin with immediate effect!"
O M G!
Thank you HAwesome; well done @poemagraphic , real inspiration right there
Hey good on you Po.Hi PM
I'd vote for you

Absolutely brilliant. Well done!Happy Monday team
Thank you all for your well wishes. My nose is not so sore and my eye is blacker, that said my pride is well bruised (being a Leo us lions don't take kindly to bashing ourselves)
SO... Down to business Forgot to test first thing, went in the shower had brekkies (eggy bread with bacon and 3 cherries... Mmmm! Coffee and double cream) stabbed my finger watched the blood sucked up the strip and saw the screen flash up 5.8
Now today Mon 20th I start my 7th week on insulin and am off to see, for the first time, my diabetes specialist at the hospital.
I am unsure what he will think about my 30% reduction in insulin and my 50% reduction in Glicaside in 7 weeks!
I know what I think he should say.... (My daily average is 6.0) However that might differ hugely from what he actually does say.
Watch this space as 'they' say!
Have a great day Ya all
Po
UPDATE: I have just returned from my hospital appointment.

Interesting how same food has different outcomes on different days. Glad veggie lasagne has a reprieve - maybe the reheat theory played a part there? Stage managing for viewers today so lots of pharmaceuticals then deal with any fallout another day. Hope you find this elusive HiLo bread as I know you like your well buttered toast.Morning All. 5.5 this morning so my delicious if I may say so veg lasagne gets a reprieve on its second outing!
Sunny day and my priority today is to track down some HiLo bread and a bit of gardening.
@ianpspurs hope the pain eases, dont overdo it today.
@gennepher hope you feel better today.
@trick60 I havent seen a policeman for many years other than on TV
@poemagraphic your amazing news yesterday made my day, hope for all.
Have a great day everyone, stay well, stay safe.
Is that bikkie level for you? Felt a hug was appropriate as a reminder to myself as much as anything else T1 and not all T2 should be as low as some of us want to be. Have a great day and hope you are well in the happy shiny people range by now.5.1 for me have a good day everyone
