What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good. Stick to your guns. It is amazing what people will poke their noses into isn’t it? We had people opening all the kitchen cupboards and fridge. Cheek!

Good morning/afternoon, everyone. 7.1 here, very pleasing after the Shrove Tuesday pancakes I ate last night. I have never eaten peanut butter on pancakes before; it is as good as butter and maple syrup and better than molasses, or honey.
Psalm 19:10. And, since today is Ash Wednesday, Mark 1:13. I love the thought of the Lord being with His wild creatures.

Yay! I'm glad you're feeling better, including better numbers.
When you feel up to it, will you please post more about ordering your shopping online? Can it include perishables? Do you order from some place local, or central like Amazon?

Good grief, 3 hours!?! Even in the US I haven't known anyone with that long a commute.
Congratulations on quitting, and best wishes for your new job. My first full-time job involved a bus ride of about 20-30 minutes. I learned to read standing up in the aisle, and sometimes I was able to take a nap on the way into town.

Good morning/afternoon @SaskiaKC good fbg after pancakes. I think peanut butter could enhance anything and I have been known to stand by the cupboard spooning it in specially late at night! Smooth or crunch?

If Mr PM leaves the house by 06.30 his drive is one hour, after 07.00 it can be be 90 minutes. So he leaves home before 06.30 and returns between 19.30 and 20.00 small wonder he is permanently tired.

I believe for @trick60 , that's a 1 1/2 hour trip..each way..excessive for sure
but here in the UK most employers consider an hours journey to work normal..(mine did)
i guess in cities that's not such an issues.. but in small towns and villages it could be.

and reading..yep i seen the tube fill up most days and we've progressed (?) from the broadsheets, to tabloid papers onto kindles, now mobiles and all while being serenaded by the beautiful "tik, tak, tik, tik, tak, tak, tik " sounds of someones personal music choice being just that "LITTLE TOO LOUD, YOU MORON"..Moments, we all know and love.

never fell asleep per se, but have, while merry, missed a stop once or twice
not too bad normally but i had one occassion went to end of line, several stops past mine..oblivious to the journey,
only to find the last train ?.".it WAS that one, sir."...

that was a LOOOOONG walk home , that night..

I gave you a Hug but I also have to admit to a .
Fortunately my morning destination was the last stop on the route!

I have been donating clothes ... I think you have convinced me to give away my last skirt and keep to trousers in the future.

keep to trousers in the future.
No Saskia I'm sure you're are fine...Molly was such a character could swear like a trooper loved a wee nip or three but was terribly pious in her dress...she never moved anywhere without the 'proper foundation' garments & a good solid of pants!

Sometimes vets will prescribe or make up a soup for older cats who have lost their teeth, or whose kidneys are failing, to keep them well hydrated. But I have never seen cat soup sold commercially ... yet.

I do food shopping online often Saskia can't be doping with the supermarkets...I use several Tesco's Sainsbury's Ocado & sometimes when I feel like being indulgent Waitrose...have a look online where you are you should find plenty who will deliver the sites will tell you if they cover your area...for other things I'll use Amazon that's really handy yesterday I ordered a present for my friends daughter I have Amazon Prime so do not pay separately for next day delivery...I order so much online saves me driving...try it you never know until you do.

We got a free sample cat soup in a promotion...I never gave it to them it was left with the other cat food...Liv (cat sitter & neighbour) was fascinated by it...on my return home one evening she told me excitedly she'd given it to them while not best pleased I said nothing I should have thrown it away...I wouldn't buy it for them.

I can nderstand in those cicumstances with a sick older cat. In the days before my Ginger died I tried everything to get him to eat, jars of baby weaning food, custard (which he loved), and other stuff I cant remember now all to no avail.
