What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning everyone on a pale and sterile washed out forum, bereft of life, like picking at the bones of some long dead creature discovered under the blistering sun of a Spaghetti Western. Not pleasant. Will have a look at settings when my eyes have adjusted to the glare.
5.8 this a.m.
Art bit - it’s ink but that’s as much as I know.
Best go before looking at this page turns into an ersatz Diabetes eye test with free squirty stingy stuff.
Great ink drawing @dunelm

My shortcut hasn't worked all day either@SlimLizzy. The new page required me to log in which I haven't done for years so I couldn't remember my password. I have had to renew my password so that I can respond to posts etc. Hopefully it will be settled down now.
This morning my shortcut took me to the app. Which wanted me to log in but when I clicked on forums and alerts it took me to where I wanted to be. It's very confusing.

This morning saw the huge tabby cat from next door walking right next to the house. Kiki declined the opportunity to chase it out.
There is some slight damage from snails - after several wet days its to be expected, but nothing like it was at Le Rocher, where the hungry hordes emerged every night and ate nearly everything. Often leaving just a stalk.
Am hoping for a dry day with a chance to work in the sopping wet garden.

6.1 this morning. Really pleased with that as we ate very late.

Weather bright and sunny. The garden is happy with the rain over the last few days.

The calf support l bought from Amazon has been brilliant and I am sure that l wouldn't have done anything like as well without it. It has 3 adjustable straps so I can adjust how much support each area needs.

Good morning everyone on a smashing sunshiny start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north.

Yesterday we were entertained by The Girl In The Bubble demonstrating what will eventually become a cartwheel but is so far just at stage one of production! Then a chat about the superiority of M&S square pizza and the advantages to us of adding the item to our next shopping list. Consulting with her father later; she likes them, cut into 4, wrap in cling film and freeze to give four future pleasing meals - weirdo!
A sofa is due to be delivered today so hopefully that will happen.
Art bit - mixed media - ink just doing it’s thing and a splash of paint.
Hope you have a pleasant valley Sunday. Best finish my koffy.

Like this one very much @dunelm makes me think of Samuel Palmer's The Magic Apple Tree...

I had a text this morning (Sunday) saying "Hello, your prescription is ready for collection from Secret Potions branch"
What the ????

I nearly deleted it as a scam...

Then I google...my pharmacy is really called Secret Potions now...

The actual phone number is withheld and just says 'W'. Google asks me if I want to report this as spam...

Today's world confuses the heck out of me...

Creative is one of my drawings done on my phone of a woman walking...

Then a second text from my car service people to say the online portal is open to let me in to my online check in for the visit of my car to their garage. I only have the option of pressing the link in the text to enter this portal....
I do have a policy of not pressing any links from text messages... but this does not give me another option.
So I press the link... "entry to portal denied"....
So that is me and my car told.... I will just have to turn up at the garage without doing this online check in....

I have to return my library books I borrowed from Liverpool Libraries by Tuesday. I had been to the library to sort all this and they said it was sorted but this is a full trip and two tunnel fees so I can't just keep going back-and-forth. But car service is due same day and so I cannot do it. All the info when I tried to do it online said no user of that name. So I found an online box for the Liverpool council, and tried communicating with them. They did get back to me very promptly, and said they were very sorry, but for some reason my account and password were locked. And they were unable to unlock it. So next time I go in, will I please take in all my ID again. And they will have to issue me with another account or another password or something... but the important thing was they did renew my library books for another three weeks so I have no fines to pay. I just have a couple more books of those 14 books to read, and I will take them in next week or the week after, and try and sort it out then and insist they double check everything...

It is time for a nap...

Zzzzzzz

Had an e-mail yesterday from something called "Finance and Accounts" (very specific, don't you think?) and with the title "Past Due Invoice Payment Adjustment". I am assuming that it is a scam and have no intention of opening it, but folks - be aware that this is out there and might catch someone out.

FBG at 03.45 today was 8.7. Last night it was 6.5, so why it rose by more than 2 points, I don't know. Main meal at 18.45 was carb free, so it really shouldn't have done. I know it could be my liver dumping glucose, but this was on waking, not after moving - actually it was the Libre alarm that woke me.

Just a late one,
FBG 7.4 carb it!

Have quite a few appointments this week. Tomorrow is brain doctor.
Wednesday is Worsel Gummidge day. ( hairdresser)
I have no doubt there is one for me Thursday. But I will have to find out.

Mrs L has been a bit of a grump today.
And according to Mrs L, it's all my fault.
We should be packing, but I won't go for boxes.
Never mind.
Tomorrow is a better day!
My best wishes.

@gennepher, I would rather pay the fines than the kerfuffle of everything you are experiencing.
And the cost of petrol, £7 for tunnel fees, and the time it takes! Ouch!
