What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.1 this morning, now into third day of feeling sick nausea, gut ache and diarrhea didn't eat much yesterday didn't test blood all day until bed time last night at about 11:30 PM though had been in bed since 7 PM and blood sugars were at 8.2 started today much the same only had to drive wife to work in snow and ice not a happy bunny this morning.

Hi everyone just got home from hospital and saw consultant which was unexpected,but he told me he had got all of it and I don't need to worry! Fabulous news I felt so relieved I nearly threw my arms around him and hugged him, Thought I needed to share this news now not wait until tomorrow. And all family are relieved has well!! K

@JohnEGreen So glad John, I too have some good news been to hospital today consultant says they have got it all and I needn't worry. Absolutely fabulous news I felt like hugging him I was so very relieved! K Hopefully you will also start getting better too good luck! K
 
Will speak with you all tomorrow,don't expect low BG readings I'm having a couple of treats chocolate fudge cake cream and strawberries,glass of wine to celebrate my great news! Take care and stay safe and warm ! K

This is brilliant news and I understand your euphoria completely, I had the same conversation with my consultant last Oct!
Nothing can compare - enjoy every last crumb of cake x
