What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning all 6.5 today, taken after shower & coffee
That's OK.
I always think your dog is smoking a cigarette but it's a chair leg
Not enough dancing!!

Morening all.
A worrying for 5.1 ( my meds boost my bs ) for me but an excuse to eat something slightly naughty maybe ?
I've not reset the clock on my meter either, but more importantly I've not reset my body clock. Be nice to somebody today folks smiles are free hehehehe

5.7 this morning - if I hadn't been through sequences of fbgs around this level and ended up scraping a 2:2 level at HbA1c I would be seriously worried about my control. Seems resting pulse has ticked up at about the same time as fbg rising so I hope it's all a minor man virus. I can't work out whether exercise or rest will help and the whole thing has become a bit of a self fulfilling prophecy/vicious circle.

Well done on BG and baking. Do they go in the oven? You have to do the sugar free soon coz I need the recipe
The muffins go in the oven...the peanut butter & chocolate cups do not & have no added sugar (apart from the reduced sugar in the chocolate, the higher the cocoa content the better they are)

2 bars 85% choc (or higher)
1 tbs peanut butter (I use Whole Earth crunchy)
1 tbs coconut oil
1 tbs cocao nibs (optional)
Pecans for decoration (or walnuts)

Method:
In a ban marie, melt chocolate, peanut butter & coconut oil. Once melted add cocao nibs if you like. Pour mixture into individual bun cases in a bun tray. This recipe will make 8 cups. Allow to set slightly at room temperature, then add a pecan on top of each one. Set fully in the fridge.
Each one works out about 4g carb using 85% choc. Will be less with 90% or if you're ambitious, 100%.

I also pop a pecan or walnut in the middle of them.

Lush, it's raining here so I might make these to cheer up the day. Hate to think of how many carbs in each muffin.

Thankfully I don't have to do it to often...and got away reasonably early...cakes will be en route to our office shortly...where they will disappear in minutes.

Just realized have not reset the time on my meter hay ho.
Thanks for recipe Bubbsie !K
