That's OK.Morning all 6.5 today, taken after shower & coffee
Not enough dancing!!6.5 from me. Fleeting 5s have gone astray again.
@Goacher55 SO frustrating!!
@flexi06 it’s the same with me, wish I’d taken bg the first time when I got up for the loo. That’ll teach me.
@Bubbsie I used to be on call when I was at work too and don’t miss that part at all, but your morning bg is really good especially considering the extra stress that causes. Your cakes yesterday looked wonderful, hope they’re appreciated.
The muffins go in the oven...the peanut butter & chocolate cups do not & have no added sugar (apart from the reduced sugar in the chocolate, the higher the cocoa content the better they are)Well done on BG and baking. Do they go in the oven? You have to do the sugar free soon coz I need the recipe
Lush, it's raining here so I might make these to cheer up the day. Hate to think of how many carbs in each muffin.The muffins go in the oven...the peanut butter & chocolate cups do not & have no added sugar (apart from the reduced sugar in the chocolate, the higher the cocoa content the better they are)
2 bars 85% choc (or higher)
1 tbs peanut butter (I use Whole Earth crunchy)
1 tbs coconut oil
1 tbs cocao nibs (optional)
Pecans for decoration (or walnuts)
Method:
In a ban marie, melt chocolate, peanut butter & coconut oil. Once melted add cocao nibs if you like. Pour mixture into individual bun cases in a bun tray. This recipe will make 8 cups. Allow to set slightly at room temperature, then add a pecan on top of each one. Set fully in the fridge.
Each one works out about 4g carb using 85% choc. Will be less with 90% or if you're ambitious, 100%.
I also pop a pecan or walnut in the middle of them.
Haven't bothered to count carbs in these ones lots of 'real' sugar in them...planning a sugar substitute batch when I get time...will keep you posted.Lush, it's raining here so I might make these to cheer up the day. Hate to think of how many carbs in each muffin.
Thankfully I don't have to do it to often...and got away reasonably early...cakes will be en route to our office shortly...where they will disappear in minutes.6.5 from me. Fleeting 5s have gone astray again.
