Hello my little sweetie pies - well Dn said nope but but but we are on the right track, she wanted to give me statins but I managed to get her to hold off. I can come off my Sitagliptin when I get my HBA1C down to under 48, I got it from 78 at diagnosis at end Feb to 66 in mid April. I’m gonna join you @Mick1959 and any others who’ve reversed. I’m lchf ing and the only hurdle for me is the exhaustion due to menopause hormones. I love this group and all who sail in her.

Top attitude @flexi06 and always remember this is for the long haul. You have come a long way so be patient. Yes I know, patience my a**e I want to kill something

Thank you all for your kind words, they are much appreciated.

I know it is still a long road to travel to my destination of Remission, and I am still finding my way around the satnav of T2, so getting to there will have the occasional wrong turn, hold ups and diversions.

However, being on this site, will always get me back on track.

Tonight, I will be breaking out a special distillers version of Talisker, a very fine single malt, and shall enjoy a wee dram or 3!

Congratulations @Mick1959! A round of applause to you!

We are all taking the scenic route!

Enjoy your wee dram this evening.

Love the positivity flexi06 x

Said it before and I'll say it again - those with type 1 have nothing but admiration from me. Type 2 seems to be a breeze in comparison. Move about a bit and eat yer greens! Hang tough @karen8967, @Cumberland and all type 1s we salute ya!

That’s kind of you to say @ianspurs
