What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Good morning all. 5.3 today. Back to full sunshine and high heat and humidity. It’s going to be a hot one. Blood glucose veered off to 7 (2h post) yesterday afternoon. So didnt keep my trend of the last few days. Need more care on the diet. Anyhow reset and keep on trucking. I have only been checking BG more than once a day since the new year, but at least i can spot when things are getting worse and make a change. Have a good one.

Yesterday's barbecue followed by LC rum and raisin ice cream (the best yet ) offset by a nice walk with mum's dog.

Excellent numbers as usual @geefull rum and raisin ice cream seems to have gone down well. Was it a secret recipe or one you can share - without having to kill me

@DJC3 unfortunately not great but you I have to get on with it gonna go out to Primark to get a new bed cover that will cheer me up a bit. I’ve also lost a good bit of weight due to my stomach problems I thought I might be gluten intolerant but everything seems to affect me. Just gotta wait it out until the 13th have a nice day DJC3
 
Sending a hug, but a bit of retail therapy is always a good mood booster.

Ziggy2017, could it be the metformin playing up. It happens to me every now and again. Hopefully it will settle down soon.

@Keesha would you prefer a like or a hug? - people can get very antsy if one gets it wrong @DJC3 please don't ever recommend retail therapy anywhere near my wife - I have spent over half my life telling her doctors said it would kill me

@DCJ3 lol I know right currently trying to eat a small plate of curry for my blood sugars stomach is not quite agreeing with it

@Keesha no I don’t take metformin hopefully my doctor will have an idea I’m gonna write it all down what I’m eating what times it’s starts etc
