@Canvaspic Good luck with keto those who can eat that way really have my admiration. I can fast for a few days but can't do that so I will watch with great interest.Good morning all, 5.5 today. Diping my toe in the water of keto. But there is a chasm between a low carb diet and ketosis. Anyway a shopping trip is on the cards to stock up. Sunny here. Home gym for me today.
Hope everyone is well, have a good day all.
@Moggely To some degree a point well made but in that other forum many posters would also give thanks for numbers below 8 or 7. What people see as a normal range for them varies hugely.Like i said on the other fasting forum. What are you complaining about the 5's for?. I would thank the good Lord for that. 6.8 this am. and thankful i'm alive.
oh ok @ianpspurs point taken and i am always willing to learn. But my point was, i would love to have some 5's and lower, maybe i never will. Who know, but to those that do..."congratulations" I envy you.@Moggely To some degree a point well made but in that other forum many posters would also give thanks for numbers below 8 or 7. What people see as a normal range fort hem varies hugely.

are you out cumbs xxHorrendous absolutely horrendous
Hi Ian, sadly my experiment proved you right, total failure. But i had half a small Aunt Bessie's as i couldn't get the yorkshire pudding idea out of my mind and it didn't cause a major problem. 5.8 this morning so i might risk it again before christmas!Been there, done that and gave up. Save Yorkshire pudding for Christmas day as a cheat treat. Yorkshire only works for me cooked under a large beef joint. Hard or crispy Yorkshire is a total waste of food, energy and effort IMHO.
@Canvaspic I have been mulling this - Keto WOE- over for some time and did some trawling of ye net. I have no actual idea of your stats e.g. height and weight but based on posts you have a home gym like me and exercise along the same lines. I am 1.83 cms and was 72.8 kgs at last medical for BMI of 21.7. (I weigh every day so know I am within 1/2 kg of that.)I also am in admiration of those who can do it. I have a 7 year old cousin who has been put on a keto diet for elipesy. If he can do it, I figure i can also. If I can manage a month, i will be really pleased with myself. I also know it took me 3 days of fasting to show any ketones, so I don’t underestimate the challenge.
