What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Oh deary me

I can sympathise with your gentlemen you encountered suffering from Neuropathy

I have had the same since March and despite Increasing doses of Amitriptylene and then Gabapentin and now both of the aforementioned - I am feeling worse and not better
The doc has also prescribed stronger co codomol

Pain varies from mild to absolute hell on earth

Salutary story/warning there @geefull. That man had the good fortune to meet you and could not have a better mentor should he have the good sense to listen.

Hi all, thanks for your kind words. Home now, having my tea. Wouldnt want to be relying on hospital food to stay on keto diet.
I think admission thing was more like a threat, ie stop complaining or we will admit you. And I held my nerve and went through the charade. All tests were clear, and was given prescription for antibiotics an€ antifungals on the way out. Its a waste of a hospital bed in a very overcrowded system. Had a big barney with the consultant before I left. Both of our stress levels have been pushed up for the day.
Anyway, out for a walk to relax.

Couldn't go to bed that early Orson...I'd be wide awake by 2-3am...I do reasonably well on 5-6 hours sleep...it may be my age which is non disclosable.

@Bubbsie @OrsonKartt was in bed by 8.30pm last night, having already dozed off on sofa! Up at 4, but awake much earlier. Do like getting up early, but think the body clock needs a bit of resetting: also do fine on 5 or 6 hours sleep, @Bubbsie .

Damp here so merging perfectly with today's theme which seems to be "it has and will be worse so suck it up." 5.4 fbg, better sleep and signs virus may ease enough to start gentle exercise.
For the tanks on the lawn brigade, I know folks like me get on yer thruppnies but this ain't optimal. If you cut us we bleed too.

My Downfall is the 'big phat comfy' chair Gg...I always intend to sit down just for 5 minutes...then usually wake up several hours later

Totally relate to that. ‘Will just close my eyes for a few minutes’....
