What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

@Bubbsie @OrsonKartt was in bed by 8.30pm last night, having already dozed off on sofa! Up at 4, but awake much earlier. Do like getting up early, but think the body clock needs a bit of resetting: also do fine on 5 or 6 hours sleep, @Bubbsie .
In the morning I'm ok to go if its light but somehow getting out of bed in the dark I find alien.....

Good morning all. 5.3 today. Sticking with the keto, so far ok. Cutting out coffee for a few days to see if makes any difference to sleep. Sleeping ok, but an experiment for a few days cant hurt.
Sunny here at the moment, so out for a long walk.
@karen8967 enjoy your holiday.
I hope everyones well and their BG behaving. Have a great day.

Morning All. 6.5 at 0730. Weather here in W Sussex gloomy perfectly in tune with how I feel. Another day to try or do I mean trying.
Enjoy it my friends.
@PenguinMum Sympathy for the bg and weather induced #moodgate scenario. You appear to be one feisty momma so I am sure you will tough it out but virtual hugs can't hurt now can they?

@ianpspurs thanks for the virtual hugs. No 1 son spent all day in Manchester hospital yesterday suspected kidney stone but now looking like Diverticulitis. Texting back and forth all day. Didnt want me to come up which is just as well as am in Kent again on Friday. I think that makes me a momma and is tough.

Good luck with the coffee experiment. I intended to do the same as I’ve a feeling it is affecting my blood pressure - sometimes it’s high sometimes low, doesn’t seem much rhyme or reason to it until I considered coffee consumption. It was very low all last year, when I spent a long time in hospital, but the coffee there was horrible so I wasn’t drinking any.

I have failed at the first hurdle though and just made a big mug of filter coffee with cream. Giving up coffee is going to be far harder then bread or pasta!

@DJC3 Hug for watching GBBO more than the reading - I find the former much more alarming:arghh:

I love it - we used to join in by making something to join in with each week’s theme ie biscuits on biscuit week, bread on bread week. Sadly don’t do that now but it’s still the only programme on tv I’d stay in for.
I’ll take the hug anyway, thanks.
