I am sure you would be an extremely genial host - your pleasure may well be short lived on meeting me in the fleshFeel free to visit anytime you like....Happy to make you a cup of tea and meet you in real life
Just to give some idea of the relative difference - what is this sea level of which you talk? Also, frost and needing to break ice on top of chickens water - and so it begins

Dorothy Sayers lived in my village - her father was the vicar. Our chickens are hybrids from a breeder in Cambridge some lay Cambridge blue eggs. The eggs can be up to 90+ gmsWow, that 1947 photo reminds me of The Nine Tailors.
What kind of chickens?

Morning all,
Can anyone help me with this please? I am type 2 and I have just had my Hb1c test and the nurse has just phoned me to say that my result is to low (41(5.9), same as last years results where I have dropped 3 Gliclazide tablets and now I have dropped all of them. Now I thought that was pretty normal or ok at least but not low! would appreciate your thoughts on what is really low to be concerned about.

Cool.
5.8 FBG this morning. I hope this oatmeal doesn't cancel that out.
Best wishes for tomorrow - whatever the results the sun will still riseHi all 6.8 for me todayBloods and weigh in tomorrow so lets see what that brings.

..Ok its coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon and usually, but not always wine in the evening... >.Tea you say?
5.9 reflects dinner out last night with wine. It was tapas but you really don't know exactly what's in the ingredients. It was very nice I might add so probably sugar in there somewhere!
I did my home hba1c test Saturday using a1cnow kit. (10 purchased for £117). I have my next DN appointment to have lab test in November and the figure shows I'm on track for a good result. 33. Thrilled if it is as my last one in May was 41. I'm also tracking on the mysugr app and that estimates 34.1. Thrilled with that too.
Today I'm dropping my grandaughter off at nursery after having her for a few days whilst her mum went to enjoy her 30th birthday present (long weekend in Benidorm!). Then a quick tidy up and meeting my friend for lunch. She has had a terrible few years with her health and is still battling along. But she is always positive and cheerful. I'm taking her for lunch to celebrate her 70th.
No reply from my DN from an email i sent a week ago. I hope she is on leave and not ignoring me!
Happy Monday folks x
Hi, I'm not on any medication and my last 3 years HB1c have been 43, 43 and 45. My surgery describes this as "excellent" Personally I would be delighted with a 41 but maybe if you are taking medication there is a difference. Any else care to comment?
Thanks IanBest wishes for tomorrow - whatever the results the sun will still rise
Have you found the home A1C now tests similar to lab tests previously, or is this the first time using it? Hope the ‘real’ test is in line with your own one.
Wow! Home test? Thats fantastic! Where do you buy these please?I did a home a1cnow on 28th April which was 37. My GP one 15th May was 41. Close.....ish but they were over 2 weeks apart. I've looked in my calendar and nothing significant between. I'm going to do a home test in the morning this time (16th Nov ). So I will have a better idea how accurate it is and will report back. I'm keeping everything crossed.
