What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I had to go to work yesterday so today I'm going to slob. No bulbs to plant, not even going to think about writing the report, I'm even finding it difficult to think about what me and Mr B are going to eat today. Visualising what's in the fridge though it could be pomelo salad, Lyonnaise salad or What the Heck sausages
And an after thought Madam wriggled her fat botty with 5.6

@Bubbsie go to bed immediately. Hate driving in the rain or in the dark or through tunnels or across bridges or up or down wiggly roads. It can make holidays a bit fraught and driving from Chester to Liverpool was like a loop of Friday 13th

Morning all. The sleep elf found his mojo but stole some from the fbg goblin so 5.2 - me and the diabetes Orc about square today. Talking of Orcs, I really don't fancy Eddie Jones' shower against the ABs (and probably the ref) but Julie and MIL like the Haka and rugby generally so I shall be forced to watch.
Sympathy to the type 1s who seem to have fallen victim to a concerted attack on their wellbeing in yesterday's #hypogateday @Cumberland, @karen8967 and @philchap1

Morning @ianpspurs. Sounds as though "woe" has wandered and elves have taken its place. A very respectable figure for you.
Do you do cryptic crosswords too?

Sue I had a really good sleep...didn't stir once until I woke up...thankfully mot of the drivers were being reasonable on the road...but that driving rain was awful...windscreen wipers on full speed

@Bubbsie, glad to hear about nod land. That's another thing Ihate about driving apart from the rain is the windscreen wipers especially if they're on full speed or when there isn't enough rain to have them off but when they're on they squeal.

Good morning all
4.6 today
Hopefully mums pre operative assessment this morning If she’s fit enough after which if they getinfo they need she will be put on the list for eye op current waiting about 6 weeks ....mmm did someone say Christmas!
Thinking at all you type 1s this morning so many hypos let’s hope things settle down for you all this weekend sounds terrible
Hope everyone has a good weekend and weather improves I agree @Bubbsie - when wet motorway driving you just can’t see a thing ahead as the lorries put you in a thick fog with no forward visibility.

Now then @SueJB. I don't mind gentle joshing but I draw the line at the insinuation of respectable.
I believe you are becoming more of a reprobate every day. How are the 9 chickens and did you have fizz?

Chickens are very well thank you - 2 eggs so far today which is quite early. No fizz since Julie is on antibiotics and MIL on Morphine - don't think the mixture would pass H and S scrutiny

Morning all.... gotta love the technology, got another weird pot of test sticks. 6.2. then 6.4 thought mmm funny new pot 5.4 ....I'm doing all the right things as far as I can tell ....Hope your w/e is going well...

5.2 this morning. Got an extra hours lie in than normal and feel worse for it. Think I get that used to little sleep that when I get a good 6 hours my body doesn’t know what’s happened
Good fbg number and generally extra sleep is good but it seems to have crosswaffled ya so I wondered about a hug rating. Have a great day and weekend.

I’m ok with early 5’s. 4’s I love but not beating myself up any more over low 5’s either. It does tend to me 5 after nights of more sleep - I think when I have so little I don’t have time for a liver dump. More sleep has always made me feel rough - 20yrs of insomnia stops being insomnia and just becomes normal life

Oh ******. Down to under 5 in the week. Bit of pasta with dinner last night put me to 6.3. High for me as a rule for me normally under 6.
Also had a couple of vodkas in the evening. Never tested after the drinks as it would have been 1 am but this morning I'm at 6.
Very telling as I have always suffered with spectacular hangovers. I would asleep in the corner after 2 or 3 pints. Embarrassing and why I switched to spirits, (I know the real reason now), woke at 5 busting for a p too so I need to test this.
