Now there's a coincidence as William Rufus (the red) who was killed by Walter was according to my family tree my 24th great Uncle and his brother Henry, Rufus's that is was my 24th great grandfather.
I've heard that too, and I have to say in my ancestry dot com family tree there are now something like 40,000 records but even so there are people I have randomly selected that I can find no connection to what so ever.5.4 again for me.

but the reference to the puritans and Massachusetts did ring a bell a 2nd cousin 9x removed of mine married the grandson of a guy who was thrown out of Massachusetts by the puritans because they didn't like what he was preaching so he went to what is now Providence, Rhode Island and bought some land and then founded the first baptist church in America his name was Roger Williams.
