What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.5 on this lovely Friday morning.......well it looks nice from the window of my hospital room.......going to test it in a minute with a slow stroll around the compound to push these meds around the old mudstream....oops, I mean bloodstream

6.1 pre lunch reading.........after standard breakfast of bran flakes, yakults and raspberries

7.2 pre dinner.......lunch was crab salad......marks and Spencer fruit salad aft e r(kiwi and strawberries)

No snacks yet but plenty of tea/coffee/water

Thank you

Dinner was a fish stew and Waldorf salad WITHOUT raisins and a nice mustard mayo

Last mouthful at 2045 so just tea/coffee/water till morning bricking......a nice 12 hour fasting block(unless Oramorph counts as food).

Final bg was 7.9 so each of the 4 readings today were lower than those at the same time yesterday for an average improvement of 0.95 per test.....happy with that

Morning all, calm but cool down here on the Coast.

FBG 8.0, hmm? I'm a morning person, but this is a bit high? Will have to investigate the new delicious "Lighter" soft cheese of yesterday's lunch and dinner, total half a tub. When these food manufacturers say "Light" that doesn't mean low carbs. Time to do some maths.

Later edit: BG 7.0 at 1200, need to watch for those hidden carbs obviously.

No such thing as a good "LIGHT" food.

Full fat for the WIN...

A nice 6.2 this morning.........technically when converted that equates to my last HbA1c test.......really not too shabby when considering the gauntlet my poor carcass has been put through

Glorious day here on the south coast
(Of India, admittedly .lol.)

Easy night last night....
Rewarded by an honoury McGarrett.

A quick review of South goa.
Much to enjoy, foods been great, people are lovely, swimming is brilliant.

BUT there is an ugly underbelly, travellers should be aware of.

Increasing levels of hooliganism as some reprobates stumble home up the high street after a night out..

And the beaches can be crowded as all and sundry seem to want to enjoy that TOURIST experience.

And depending on if your in the FOUR PAWS GANG...
OR the BipedzRulz crew.
Dogs are a Something to enjoy..or avoid
( Cos they're everywhere you turn.)

We give it a BIG 5 thumbs up on the Raakonometre.

Enjoy your day, you beautiful people.x
.

4.8 today. Stayed in the 4s even after meals yesterday and also had a 3.8. Perhaps my beta cells have come out of hibernation - hopefully the good numbers carry on. Maybe they will - maybe they won't - so I will just enjoy the good numbers while I am getting them.

Very disturbed night. Called out to mum as dad needed help. Not slept more than 1 hour and didn’t eat supper due to situation.
Gobsmacked to see 9.8 this morning!!!

Hugs...hope dad's ok.

Worrying, so BG reflects that...
And little sleep doesn't help.
So score still good, imho
