What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Come on everyone...lets wipe this slate and start a clean one before the sun goes down both sides of the pond. Diabetes is especially good at being responsible for misunderstanding and frustration. More importantly I need you all. Hugs all round

I'm strongly considering not posting here anymore because of this negative judgmental comment that applies to my signature and my posts..

I might make comments about pet posting, but your weight loss is an inspiration to people like myself, from memory your blood sugars seem ok as well. Please keep posting.

Up during the night with a toothache. so disrupted sleep. I'm going to have arrange a visit hopefully tomorrow as my dentist does not work Easter Monday (I have my last follow up routine eye appointment tomorrow too.)
Hope you managed to get help with your toothache, Chronical_Cat.

Looks nice and meaty, kebab wif garlic. Low carb, should bring my blood sugars down hehehe
I'm fairly positive Harry's poor little carcass would not pass inspection under EU regulations...of course if you wait until after Brexit

Why...just why? If you dont like pets thats fine but that is really NOT funny and I have no idea why you would think it is!

IDK ?
IME ?
I wonder what those initials stand for?

I apologize, @alf_Josiah . I did not mean you at all, and I'm sorry it appeared that way to you. I was talking about some of my "neighbors" where I live -- sometimes it seems like smiling at people who don't like you is like casting pearls before swine -- they turn and trample the one who smiled.

IDK = "I don't know."
IME = "In my experience."

I don't where they originated; I picked them up on another online board. I think they're textspeak? It irritates me when people on some boards post unfamiliar initialisms instead of words, so I shouldn't be doing it myself.

chronicle cat you have done brill and as long as your happy it doesnt matter what other people think xx

Hi All,

This thread has been already called to order once today.

30 odd consecutive posts of chat containing no mention of fasting blood glucose is not ‘fbgs with some chat’ - it is a major derailment, and not in the intention of the thread.

Please don’t waste your (and the mods) time by continuing this derailment, because the posts will be deleted.

You are welcome to start a chatter thread, in the General Chat section of the forum, but this thread is for people who want to record their FBGs and maybe comment/chat a little, so please stay on topic here.

When I go back and look at the FBG numbers I've noted over the weeks of any one month for the past year, I've noticed that the number have been nice and low since I started a modified DASH diet, just as they were on the LC diet. I don't know if it's the fact that I've been on Metformin all those months, or if the DASH diet is just as good for BG as it is for BP and other "blood" conditions. I will be interested 3 months from now to see if the new statin has affected my "DL" numbers, L and H.

Hi guys,

A number of posts have been deleted for derailing.
There have been 2 call to orders today.

Correction; mine is the third..

Please be mindful of the general topic & ethos of this thread.

Kind regards.

Just another mod reminder, that posts will be deleted for derailing. Also, repeated need for deletions and or edits could lead to restrictions on forum access to those posting derailing content.

Couldn't have put it better. You must have been a teacher in your previous life with such a great way with words.
