Up during the night with a toothache. so disrupted sleep. I'm going to have arrange a visit hopefully tomorrow as my dentist does not work Easter Monday (I have my last follow up routine eye appointment tomorrow too.)
I'm fairly positive Harry's poor little carcass would not pass inspection under EU regulations...of course if you wait until after BrexitLooks nice and meaty, kebab wif garlic. Low carb, should bring my blood sugars down hehehe
Why...just why? If you dont like pets thats fine but that is really NOT funny and I have no idea why you would think it is!Looks nice and meaty, kebab wif garlic. Low carb, should bring my blood sugars down hehehe

chronicle cat you have done brill and as long as your happy it doesnt matter what other people think xx5.4 today..
I realize that weight is not a big issue for all Type 2s but for me and others I know it has been. My numbers are posted not to say that it explains Type 2 but because it's been a struggle for me to get closer to a normal weight for 50 years. For many of us, it is IS a big factor.
Carrying over a 100 extra lbs has had a big impact on me. Every single medical professional I've ever dealt with all of my life has told me about the risk of my morbid obesity to my heart, my joints and my body in general. I have tried unsuccessfully for 50 years to lose it.
Now I've lost a lot of it, I find daily living so much easier, going for walks, going up and down stairs, even bending down to pick up things off the floor. Do I have the body and fitness of a 25 year old? Obviously not but I am healthier now than I have been in many years.

Come on everyone...lets wipe this slate and start a clean one before the sun goes down both sides of the pond. Diabetes is especially good at being responsible for misunderstanding and frustration. More importantly I need you all. Hugs all round
Couldn't have put it better. You must have been a teacher in your previous life with such a great way with words.just to come back to that.
i too enjoy that..and in particular this threads ability to educate, encourage & entertain.
it's maybe not, sure others will put me right..( i never was a teacher,)
but it seems to me like a teachers rest room, ( i guess diabetes and fbg's being the good AND naughty kids..)
everyone pops in at different times to get a coffee and catch up on colleagues (joys & woes)
so at differing times, the rest room may be full/half/empty and always perhaps a different mix of staff, new & old
Time enough for a quick coffee/tea...and then perhaps pop over to a conversation in the corner of the room and join in
or pick up a previous conversation point with someone.
i guess i see it as OUR "Office Cooler" moment..( as they seem to say, stateside....)
whatever you call it, it's now a part & parcel of my morning routine..( love it x )
Long may it continue..
