after a much cooler and mostly overcast day yesterday it's looking brighter so far. We're planning a bit of strimming.

5.9 yesterday but didn't get a chance to post as spent most of the day here in Fuertoventura trying to dodge the clouds and rain!!! Ducking and diving like a boxer!!!

Having read the mods posts I dont feel my usual long posts telling you about my day here on the island would be in order so I'm going to keep it short and appropriate

Not sure the idea is to just boringly record data, ..we're not robots.

And i don't believe the intention was stop us enjoying someone else's joy..or commiserating with their pain when needed, either.

Though I can see the intervention and posts made sense

Me I scored what is turning from a rut into a trench for me ..6.3.

I keep popping my head up, with the odd high 5..but the incoming FBG has me ducking for cover as yet another 6.3 gets lobbed into the JJ ALLIANCE front lines..:***:

Morning All, I was diagnosed with type 2 a couple of weeks ago and my readings are always between 8-10 in a morning. 8.2 at 08:30 today after fasting from about 19:30 last night. I'm thinking I'm a work in progress and these can only get better with changes already being made x

just to come back to that.

i too enjoy that..and in particular this threads ability to educate, encourage & entertain.

it's maybe not, sure others will put me right..( i never was a teacher ,)
but it seems to me like a teachers rest room, ( i guess diabetes and fbg's being the good AND naughty kids..)

everyone pops in at different times to get a coffee and catch up on colleagues (joys & woes)
so at differing times, the rest room may be full/half/empty and always perhaps a different mix of staff, new & old

Time enough for a quick coffee/tea...and then perhaps pop over to a conversation in the corner of the room and join in
or pick up a previous conversation point with someone.

i guess i see it as OUR "Office Cooler" moment..( as they seem to say, stateside....

)

whatever you call it, it's now a part & parcel of my morning routine..( love it x )

As Dr Fung says we need to lower the sugars then empty our internal sugar bowl.

Fbg the last to come down, so they say..so it's really the trend you want to keep an eye on

We are probably all a work in progress.
Sure yours will come along nicely..after all you've made the best move..simply joining the forum and taking a pro active stance on your health ...
