6.1 Fasting
Joghurt and rasperries for breakfast.
30 mins low intensity exercise as recommended by my Endo - first time I have done it and she told me to work up to 45 mins. 6.1 @ 2 hours
The doc's been fantastic - my post breakfast reading was 23.8, that was 3 hours later! She also checked my sugars and I was at the highest end of the spectrum, no Ketones though and no signs of infection (I'll need to read up on that...).
So waiting for a call (she's going to speak to the Diabetologist for guidance) - I won't go further as I don't want to hijack this thread - but there's further details and updates via another topic I posted in the discussions forum re: post op readings
If it wasn't for the meter nothing I'm feeling would have made me go the doc....and then what? Rushed to A&E? I shudder to think.
People who think they are always right and ram their opinions down your throat. No-one knows everything. Those who shout loudest are usually the ones who actually know the least.
Also got on the scales, and have lost another 3lbs despite all the wine and higher carbs during my relative-visiting last week. Mind you, I've stopped eating fruit this week. I was eating too much summer fruit for a few weeks, putting me up to about 70/80g carb, so I'm back now to about 25g carb daily.
I think summer fruit is responsible for my increase in levels too although I am usually within 25-40g carbs per day. Will be better in the winter I hope.
