What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

8.7 yesterday, 7.2 today. I would blame the covid booster, but the HbA1c suggests a longer term problem.
I am seeing low fives afternoons and evenings, so trying to work out what is going on.

not eating for 16hrs and numbers highest it been all week‍
Don't be discouraged by this though.. think of it like this, if you have not provided body the raw material to create glucose where is it creating it from? Obvious answer is from reserves so it gets worse before it gets better as dp combined with longer fasting can initially bring BG up but long run it does settle down...getting rid of those reserves is the key really.

7.5 - And this after a very indulgent evening which delivered an 11.8!! Of course, this was all for the purposes of scientific and empirical evidence in an experiment related to a hypothesis - of course, it was. Seriously? Something is working in my EndoSys.

Morning all. Notice I didn't say 'good morning'? Bedtime reading 8.8. Morning reading 8.1. I was naughty and had a choc sponge pudding about 3pm yesterday and didn't eat after and still haven't eaten (it's now 10.20am) . Hopefully will damp down the damage. Hope you all have a netter week.

7.2 well that's a turn up for the books for me I blame the mushy peas and fish at 7.pm last night being the cause. I don't normally eat that late but was tackling the front bedroom all day and forgot to eat! Back to 5.6 for the day so no all bad
