Snow removal in Canada is like a finely tuned machine when shifting amounts under 25cms, more than that it grinds to a halt and the kids love a snow day.Makes the couple of cms of the cold white mess here seem trivial. Icy pavements and fog mean I retreat from outside until spring.
I remain hanging by a thread in the sticky sixes with 6.9 today.
I'm with you with the continuous eating plan. Its a real pain feeling hungry all the time, I'm back to eating butter which I was trying to avoid because of my high cholesterol, plus am going through nuts like there's no tomorrow. Definitely looking forward to the end of this cold snap.Good morning
Libre 7.1
Contour 6.1
so cold here I’m continually eating all day off to the gym before work, yoga tonight
Be careful if you’re out today
Its not just the hunger, I am absolutely shivering through to the marrow. Had heating and electric fire on yesterday. I never understood why my poor old mum used to run her heating at full blast and still need to wear 3 or 4 layers of clothing to keep warm. I do now. Can I blame it on the diabetes - it gets blamed for everything else - or is it just age creeping up? Hmm.. FBG 5.4 this morning and knowing what I ate yesterday, I think bloods actually must rather like the cold. Bah. Humbug!Morning All. 7.2 today so while better than yesterday I am sending back for a refund! @DEBBIESCOTT and @Ryhia I thought it was just me feeling hungry all the time since the cold snap. We will get through it, we will.
Well I have just taken my bg and it is 5.7 so I am happy with that. I feel a bit hungry but I think I will just have a few cold boiled eggs and silver side sliced beef.7.1 at 6:30am not good for me but hopeful it will settle to some normality at some point today
