I don't forget to eat, but sometimes I look in the fridge and think nah I don't fancy anything due to my diet being so restrictive.4.4 this morning. Do you ever get days when you forget to eat? Or it gets to the end of the day and you suddenly realise that you haven’t eaten at all. I do sometimes. Yesterday was one. I do practise intermittent fasting so don’t eat in the morning anyway.
Massive win for the A1c. Hugs and prayers for tomorrow.Morning all. Bedtime 6.4. This morning...6.9. A1c down from 51 to 47. Happy about that.
@Estragon, my diet is so restricted due to my gluten intolerance and the difficulties that it brings with it that I was resigned to it really. I can't do the low carb diet and that's really the best way to get your sugars down. Am I concerned about taking meds? A bit, not because of the meds themselves but the side effects.Yes, this can be a daunting thought, it was for me. Are you concerned about needing to take meds?
Thank you. Appreciated.Massive win for the A1c. Hugs and prayers for tomorrow.
I eat quite a few nuts regularly and don’t find they affect my levels. I don’t use a lot of processed foods though so can use some salt.6.2 this morning, not liking that, but its my own fault - at least the pack of salted peanuts that was in my view line whenever I opened the food cupboard, will tempt me no more.
I get that. Some days wanting something different and having to make it instead of just go and buy it. I usually eat vegan keto but sometimes stray into higher carb territory. Best wishes for your test at the end of the month.I don't forget to eat, but sometimes I look in the fridge and think nah I don't fancy anything due to my diet being so restrictive.
I'm taking it out. It's 2-3 mmol/L too low compared to contour and the libre test strips. That's $150 wasted I guessGrrr
Ah, righto! So, the inverse of that is that eating Carbs does make you hungry? Yes? You could be onto something. Interesting.I think not having carbs makes me not hungry.
My last sensor read low compared with my test strips. I too ripped mine out early and sure enough the new sensor is reading the same as my strips. Plantae because I only had two days left I'm not going to bother contacting Libre for a replacement, but if I was you I would contact your sensor company and get a replacement sensor.I'm taking it out. That red part of the line is my breakfast high (LOL)
I'll be contacting them Monday... not open on weekends. I've had another one in the past read low, but this one was ridiculous... I couldn't keep it on. I've kept it in case they want me to send it to them although they didn't last timeMy last sensor read low compared with my test strips.
