What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

4.4 this morning. Do you ever get days when you forget to eat? Or it gets to the end of the day and you suddenly realise that you haven’t eaten at all. I do sometimes. Yesterday was one. I do practise intermittent fasting so don’t eat in the morning anyway.
I don't forget to eat, but sometimes I look in the fridge and think nah I don't fancy anything due to my diet being so restrictive.

Yes, this can be a daunting thought, it was for me. Are you concerned about needing to take meds?
@Estragon, my diet is so restricted due to my gluten intolerance and the difficulties that it brings with it that I was resigned to it really. I can't do the low carb diet and that's really the best way to get your sugars down. Am I concerned about taking meds? A bit, not because of the meds themselves but the side effects.

I think my new sensor is broken. 3.3 (5.7 on contour next). Went to bed at 5.1 (7.7 on contour)

Edit: I hate this. My DN will adjust my insulin based on those numbers because I was below 3.3 (roughly) all night, except I don't believe it. The sensor is broken. Grrr

Edit 2: Oh, and no alarms. So I guess that issue isn't fixed. Since it was reading 5.1 when I went to bed and the low alarm is set to go off at 4.6 (I adjusted it again) there should have been an alarm. But none, and I'm not likely to miss the alarm since it's louder than a firetruck siren and right next to my bed

6.2 this morning, not liking that, but its my own fault - at least the pack of salted peanuts that was in my view line whenever I opened the food cupboard, will tempt me no more. :angelic:
I eat quite a few nuts regularly and don’t find they affect my levels. I don’t use a lot of processed foods though so can use some salt.

I get that. Some days wanting something different and having to make it instead of just go and buy it. I usually eat vegan keto but sometimes stray into higher carb territory. Best wishes for your test at the end of the month.

7.9 - And this after last night's fish, egg pie and mash AND a gorgeous, full juicy MASSIVE sweet Naval Orange gave me a 10.1. So, dear Hearts, I lost a whole TWO points overnight.

Also, my new Computer specs are marvellous. No more visual ocular swimming about trying to use my driving specs for this close and intermediate distance of my PC Screen.

I'm taking it out. It's 2-3 mmol/L too low compared to contour and the libre test strips. That's $150 wasted I guess
That red part of the line is my breakfast high (LOL)
My last sensor read low compared with my test strips. I too ripped mine out early and sure enough the new sensor is reading the same as my strips. Plantae because I only had two days left I'm not going to bother contacting Libre for a replacement, but if I was you I would contact your sensor company and get a replacement sensor.

I'll be contacting them Monday... not open on weekends. I've had another one in the past read low, but this one was ridiculous... I couldn't keep it on. I've kept it in case they want me to send it to them although they didn't last time
