What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Happy Monday all! 5.2 this morning, did a 7 mile walk yesterday (Wagamama penance!) so that probably helped. Although 4 miles of it were entirely involuntary, as I got a bit lost…

My ankle’s wrecked now!
Still, that’s 3 days on the trot FBG under 6 so all good.

I’ve just got some Heylo bagels which are supposed to be keto/ low carb so I’m going to try them for those moments when only a toasted bagel will do. I dare say they’ll not be the same as the real deal but I can pretend

Getting out of the rut I found myself in. It was getting deeper, more a trench than a rut. Less than 30g carbs yesterday. It will be even less today, with a swim session and walk for good measure. Now I have told you all that I have to stick to it,
 
7.5 - Monumental pain from 1am this morning. Just learnt that I maybe one of the fortunate masochists that can’t convert Codeine to Morphine. Going to quizz all of my Alchemists here at Estragon Towers for a better magic solution. Presently I’m not ruling out Eye of Toad.
 
Morning All last day of my jollies, heading home soon. used a Libre for guidance but didn’t use meter last 5 days. Aldeburgh best fish & chips EVER. Thrigby Hall magical. But that North sea wind hells bells! Delighted to see @Estragon is back from the other side and hope you can find more helpful meds. Bagels …what bagels Enjoy the day everyone.

Sorry for your pain. As someone with allergies to morphine codeine,NSAIs etc, the only thing left is meditation and distraction such as forum reading. . Hope you can find some decent pain relief soon.

Back to business, I was happier to be in the sixes with 6.7 this morning.
