I am sorry - this time of year is so hard, isn’t it? I wish we could all reach out and give you physical hugs and comfort.Good morning everyone. Disappointed with the start of this weeks results at 7.4. It’s been in the 7s for nearly 10 days now and I haven’t posted often as I’ve been really down in the dumps. Oh, @MissMuffett, I'm truly sorry for you. Glad you're with this group.Missing my husband who died 3 years ago
Morning @Ashybang. If waking during the night, for no obvious reason, is the chief problem, this may be closely connected with your diabetes and changes in blood glucose levels.Lol nothing exciting keeping me up!
It's not unusual for me to be awake at 3am. There are times when I'm in bed for 10pm and I just awaken, can't get back to sleep, so I stay up for a while until tiredness kicks in again. I may stay up an hour or two.
Regular sleep from 11pm to 7am, with no disturbance is a problem.
Early hours this morning I'd woken and felt a little hungry. I had some Big soup, without which I'm sure my reading would have been in the 5s again. . . . .
I have taken earlier advice and made drinks with bovril recently, which has been brilliant in curbing early hours munchies when I have them, but this morning I had the soup.
When this happens, more often than not, it's the first test which is unreliable for any number of reasons. You were right to retest.7.0. Not happy with hitting a seven after 13 days of 6s. Re tested, 5.8! Didn't trust that, too big a jump. Retested 6.3. Now I just don't beleive any of them, so I'm gonna skip today's readings and just carry on. A new week folks. Hang in there.
Thank you for the kind comment, and for the legs update yesterday.WoW another cracking result
.BG 4.3mmol on waking.
@MissMuffett
@LivingLightly will go all out for a further reduction during the day of Carbs, stick to it as well as I can and see if my sleep improves.
There is no obvious reason I can think of,
to me waking in early hours......
Sometimes I need to pee, but not too often.
@aylalake very nice result today.
I'm the same not the getting up and eating but the being awake for hours ..drives me mad .Lol nothing exciting keeping me up!
