I am getting better but I am not ready to move on to normal stuff yet.

Well, I started at 6.2, was 7.6 at the 2 hour mark, then shot up to 8.3 half an hour later, down to 5.2 two hours after that. I should’ve tested the mince pie (@DEBBIESCOTT I deliberately threw the other half out for the jackdaws) on separate days to the chips. Or left several hours between because I don’t know what triggered the delayed rise.
Mine was 109 in October, having it done again in January so I'm hoping for a reduction. Well done in what you've been doing, it's not easy! Since then I've done a lot of work and brought my BGs down dramatically and lost 8lb. I'm really hoping he'll give me more time rather than reaching for the prescription pad.

FBG Fingerprick 7.8 Libre 7.3 … not a good result but after the amount of carbs consumed over the last few days its hardly suprising … Better be good for next couple of days because weekend will definitely be carb overload again. I wonder if the insulin producing companies notice a big spike in sales around Christmas like retail stores do.

A couple of days of numbers in the 8's and a 7.1 this morning .Not really low carbing or anything till the new year .
