What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

When i asked my doctor about insulin she was shocked…no insulin for me. Instead she said I’d get a glucose lowering pill (forget the name). My pancreas is severely damaged. The tail is completely atrophied and the pancreatic duct is tortuous (that word might be wrong…it’s twisted all to heck). Funny thing is that my c peptide is completely normal and my fasting insulin is low but normal. So many things I don’t understand….

Then Costco. I stared longingly at the almond flour crackers, my kryptonite, but didn’t buy them. Yet…
Mine are the Croissants and the Fish Balls, but not necessarily eaten together. Anywhoose, good work on walking on by. I used to buy the Linwoods products there, but they’ve disappeared so I now order them directly from their HQ in Northern Ireland and get a chance to hear a range of different accents too, Double-Bubble.

Tried the square of 90% Lindt chocolate again at bedtime in the interests of science, you understand.

Libre 5.4 (so good to have one again- delayed by festive season postal non-deliveries)
CodeFree 5.9

Morning all, 5.0 this AM, went down to 4.5 and stayed there for a couple of hours yesterday evening after exercise, but then strangely, later went up to 6.5 all by itself and I hadn't even eaten anything....

Have a great day.

6.9 at 7:30. Still erratic sleep but I’ve started taking magnesium to see if that helps. It’s surely better for me than nytol!

@Estragon I used to have to feed tinned fish balls to the families dog (by hand!) when I was an au pair in Sweden. Never had a fish ball since!

Have a fab Friday everyone

Did you have any stress-related issues? Stress/anxiety (or irritation) makes my BG shoot up.
