O…K… But, nonetheless, you’ve done it AND you posted it here! That’s a big win.Well yesterday I tried to keep the carbs really low and it kinda paid off as my fbg was 7.5 - better, but far from good.
Thank you,....well done too, sounds like you're getting things back under control..!I wanted to give you a winner star for your FBG and agree re all that you have been NOT told . It seems to be the norm that as type 2 's given no positive help and here is you tablets and off you pop .
Hi @Bcgirl.I think I was 6.7 this morning….
I’m adding a wee bit of carbs to my diet as a test. So today it was half an apple with almond butter.....It was ok…but honestly the apple had no flavour….how disappointing.
Hi @LadynijoIt’s the ice cream that catches me out!
Oh, and the croissants!
Totally agree, I love finding the old varieties! The new ones are way too sweet.Hi @Bcgirl.
I used to love apples. Traditional English varieties like a crisp and juicy Cox's Orange Pippin have a kick to them, but modern cultivars such as Gala and Golden Delicious have been selected for sweetness. Not only is the flavour disappointing, super sweet apples are the last thing the world needs for good health! Unfortunately, they sell.
