What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Evening @Welshman1952

Can't think of a lovelier way to lower blood glucose levels than birding with family on a January day in anticyclonic conditions. Bitterly cold I expect, but good light and visibility is everything. Hope the tides turned in your favour and you logged lots of species!
It was marvellous with highlights of spoonbill, glossy ibis, curlew, lapwing and snipe. All in all, a great day

Morning All 8.0 yesterday and again today but brewing lurgy. Mr P has chest infection and though we have been staying in separate rooms I probs got a little bit of it. @DEBBIESCOTT that sounds like a really nasty and persistent infection that surgery need taking seriously. @Estragon back in the Hive yeah! @Ashybang and @RosemaryJackson you will get there. Take care all.

Fbg 4.5 this morning, Libre (xdrip+) tells me I had a low (3.6) more or less when I was up and brushing my teeth...never felt a thing, not faint or anything?...

I also use a LUMEN and it tells me I woke up burning mostly fat this am...

I know it's not a useful measure but yesterday's calculated A1c was 27 (4.6%) .....I'm quite happy with that!

Have a great day folks...

Forgot to take reading this morning on awakening, but more than likely still in the 8s as was up in the night, feeling the cold and have signs of a sniffle on top of everything else.
All I can do is post reading now at 2.15pm which is BG 6.7 mmol.
A lot of folk in the 5s and going really well. Smashing stuff......

6.8 this morning and freeeeezzzzzzzzzing! Forecast is snow but local weather forecast says no. Work out done and I have been fed and watered so probably back to the 5s later but after exercise reading was 7.5 which for me is acceptable after a 50 minute workout. Legs didn't want to work when I ran upstairs earlier, cold weather makes the muscles work harder I think, in my case anyway ;)
