6.5 fasting that's about the usual for me. I do get the odd 7 but wondered if my meter is ok as it never ventures out of that range regardless what I do the day before. Still taking it in about type 2 and what I should be looking for as to the test readings so love to read these replies with great interest .Lovely topic by the way

5.6 that's acceptable. Recently it's been 6.2 ish, which is too high.
