Perhaps your body needed a little more fuel and your liver obliged @Bcgirl.My glucose is odd and concerning today. Woke up with 6.5, it did go down to 5.9. I ate a wee bit this morning and even included some carbs, two tiny strawberries. I ate them last, started with my butter coffee and a piece of cheese. Oddly my glucose went to over seven, something I never see! All morning at the gym it was high sixes. So unusual. I walked about 5 km and did some weights. It never came down and was still 6.9 at lunchtime. I had ground beef and some pork belly….and it’s now at 7.2……after a two km walk. Is my pancreas finally giving up….or just a bad day?
food is certainly not a problem and I’m not sick or stressed.
im heading into the garden….my happy place
This notion has been around for at least 20 years, possibly longer. Have you tried it?@RosemaryJackson8.6 for me@Bcgirl, according to the Glucose Goddess, you should eat veg (and I presume fruit) before you eat the protein and lastly carbs. You get a lower spike.
This strategy has never worked for me @RosemaryJackson, but your experience may be different.8.6 for me@Bcgirl, according to the Glucose Goddess, you should eat veg (and I presume fruit) before you eat the protein and lastly carbs. You get a lower spike.
Snap!mine was the same.Improving with a 7.9 .
Yes, heading in the right direction @mojo37 Are you going for a hat trick?Improving with a 7.9 .
Your numbers have been trending higher than is usual for you @Bcgirl, but they're not horrendous, your appetite hasn't waned and you haven't experienced digestive issues. I hope your readings stabilise soon.Hign again today..6.7 then immediately down to 6.0
yesterday I was pretty sure my pancreas was on its way out as my readings over the past few weeks have been significantly higher that previous months. I was ready to chat with my doctor, get more tests….but miracle of miracles, the levels regulated while I was working out this morning and they’ve been good since. I have double checked with blood pricks. I seriously have no idea why, maybe just a pancreatic blip. We will see what the next week brings.
It's good to hear you're seeing a specialist on Tuesday @DEBBIESCOTTGood morning libre 5.6
Chest infection not budging, but have finally got a thoracic appointment at hospital on Tuesday
