Greetings @Rob_Stobbs. Welcome to our forum and this FBG thread. We're pleased you could join us.Morning All, I am becoming quite jealous of you, reading about Gym visits and walks etc, sadly neither figure particularly highly in my life due to long term medical issues (Bi Lateral Below Knee Amputee and also Essential Tremor sufferer). That said, we lead as active a life as possible and spend as much time as we can in the garden, weather permitting, or working on the interior of our delightful cottage, despite its somewhat suicidal tendencies. LOL
Strange things have been happening with Pin Prick readings over the last few months, following surgery for Deep Brain Stimulation my Blood Sugars are behaving better than they had ever previously done? I was always the wrong side of 8.5 mol but since surgery I am constantly around 4.5 to 5.6? No one seems to have a clue why this should be, but I'm not complaining, believe me. We live on a very Mediterranean based diet and that seems to have finally reduced everything, even the waist!!
Anyway, "Hi" and lovely to meet you all.
It's low carb @timbo_dolman provided that you steer clear of the pasta!Well done - Mediterranean diet is very low carb so definitely benefits your glucose level
The whole forum has seemed quieter than normal @mojo37 for a couple of days. Also are our member number dwindling or is it just me thinking that .
Excellent drop - well done.on the other side it went really high yesterday after my normal breakfast ( 14.1 ) then down after 40 min walk ( 6.9 ).
Strip-tastique!now I have got my new supply of strips.
Wondered what had happened to you @RosemaryJackson.Morning all. 7.5 for me today now I have got my new supply of strips.
