What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.6 this morning at 5 am. Was in the bathroom trying not to wake up hubby, dropped the meter and eventually got a reading. This was all in the dark as the light bulb went as I walked in!

How I wish I could get away with an occasional modest helping of traditional spaghetti. Alas, some of us can't. If you can @PenguinMum, and a small portion every once in a while works for you, then that's great.

I'm not a fan of Konjac, but spiralised courgettes have enabled us to continue enjoying all our favourite Italian pasta dishes; the recipes I turn to time and again especially when in a hurry.

5.8 this morning, lots of walking ahead today - have a great Saturday everyone !!

Morning all

Cold and grey here

Woke up to a six made myself a black tea then get a 6.8

Looking forward to going out to lunch with old friends. - I’m grateful as my other half has Alzheimer’s and it’s a challenge.

Have a great day if you possibly can

Libre 6.1
Not surprising really
Husband in one hospital & mum pressed her lifeline at midnight & has to rush to her & wait for the ambulance, finally got to back to bed at 4, in different hospitals 40 miles apart, will be visiting both today
Take care everyone

It's a case of finding what works for you and as we know none of us react exactly the same way to either food or exercise .

8.4 this morning, a bit on the high side but never tested until 9am as had a decent lie in. Unfortunately my morning readings go from a reasonable 6 mmol up to around 11 mmol at 1 PM irrespective of what I eat or do re. exercise so just caught the rise on the curve.

Having my Covid and Flu jabs later today so not looking forward to that but interested in an "anoraky" sort of way to see if they affect my readings.
Enjoy the weekend wherever you are.

I tried those konjac ( think that's right ) noodles and they too were awful ....like chewing elastic bands
