7,4 this morning, but I didn't test until I'd been up and about for about 4 hours. Big dinner with the extended in-laws this evening, but plenty of carnivore options, so should be okay. And planning a brisk walk afterwards! (Likely in rain and/or snow! :) ) Still... Curious what tomorrow's numbers will bring. (When we have more walking on the itinerary!)

6.5 this morning but I didn't test immediately I got up. I've been much more relaxed with the testing and just forgot. Any of you watch the final episodes of Vera? We usually do a spot the location when we are watching as the location shots are usually based in and around Northumberland so relatively local to us. The penultimate episode on New Years day was very interesting as it showed a couple of my local walking areas. One was of Hartlepool Headland in Teesside, about half an hours drive away from me, the other was a view of Ryhope Cliffs and beach which are less than 5 mins walk from my home.

7,6 this morning. Was 6.2 after that rather massive dinner with the in-laws, so blame it entirely on the restless night and the stress of a social event catching up on me. Ah well, it's off my liver, so that's alright. It's snowing here in the Netherlands this morning. Too bad it'll be slush by the time there's enough light to take photographs. But it's very serene out there now, and I love it.

Morning All 7.3 today so better but not a 6. @Ryhia I live in the south but I thoroughly enjoyed the last VERA two parter and felt emotional at the end. Nobody else could have played that part and the scenery and background was stunning. That shot of her on the wetlands (?) with her dog at the end!

Morning all.

This w/e I’m mainly binging on the free week end of Apple TV. Specifically slow horses.

Apple in its marketing wisdom allows free access until midnight tonight

On my waking glucose levels they were 5.9

I managed a wet and cold short walk after which levels got to 6.4

… on with the day. Stay warm and dry ….

Forgot to test again, already had breakfast so no point now I'll try to remember tomorrow. Wet and cold outside today no snow today although the sky is quite white out at the moment.

I think they said her last scene was filmed at Lindisfarne.

Body is still fighting this virus…7.6 this morning. No carbs yesterday…
speaking of yesterday, I woke up tired so I napped before lunch. Still feeling exhausted I went for another nap and slept hard until 4, and I managed to sleep all night. Still not completely well but I did manage a weight workout and some snow shovelling this morning. I didn’t test but likely it’s Covid. I did lose my taste for a few days and basically felt like **** for a week. I bet it’ll be another week until I feel normal.

8.2 this dreary morning. Back on the CGM and hoping to get back on the lower carb track after a major lapse over the Christmas and holiday period.I hope you all had an enjoyable time over the last few weeks and haven't yet managed to break those New Year resolutions,:)
