worth keeping a box spare. a lot of chemists stock various strips to fit a multitude of meters, might be worth checking your local one if they have in stock, rather than waiting for dr's to prescibe send over etc. in uk some chemists can do under minor ailments if dont pay for prescriptions6.3 at 8am. Well it could have been worse after the roast lunch and pudding yesterday. And now I’ve run out of test strips so will have to wait a few days
Have a marvellous Monday everyone x

5.11 Happy Monday morning. My fingers are getting all bruised, I still like and somewhat trust finger pricking. I am enjoying the sunny days in Santa Cruz CA. Have a nice day everyone.

I have been using an extra fine 33 gauge, and got used to little pain. I will try moisturizing coconut butter or similar. I switch my fingers for testing. Thanks for sharing info.was advised to use moisturiser coconut butter or simular on tummy as bruising from insulin injections, maybe that could help with fingers too?
perhaps you can get narrower lancets, higher number gauge which should help (if can get enough blood from them) i'm using 30g at the moment which is less nippy than the 23gauge which was original prescribed.
