What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.8 this morning. Wondering what all the fuss was about with storm Floris yesterday. We had a mild breeze in Home Counties with a few spots of rain but that was all. My cultivated straw garden could really have done with some stormy rain. The advance weather warnings almost always make it sound far worse than the actual reality. on the day. Hope those further north didn't suffer too much damage as they took the impact of it.

Six point seven for me this windy morning

I could do a wash and put it out to dry but suspect it’s all just a bit too breezy for that today
Dont know about that, I did a wash and hang out yesterday whilst on an amber warning for Floris. Was drying them nice and quick and nothing blew off the line then it started to rain. :(

Morning all, 5.88mmol/L at 6 am this morning. Taking pain medication for knee pain is a lengthy process at old age. I have to make a lot of lifestyle changes. Pain can raise BP, I don't think knee pain is raising my fbg. Have a nice day everyone.

12.2

Feeling rotten, v hungry despite high BG. Experimented with 3 spoons egg mayo to see if I can shut my liver up.

1 hr later, 13.6

Still hungry, now also v frustrated

Edit: Hubby pointed out that finger might be contaminated, even though I'd washed it less than half an hour ago. A recleaned finger yielded a much less alarming 10.5

Same as yesterday..5.2 on Dexcom, 5.4 blood prick. They keep saying it’ll get smokey here but nothing yet, fingers crossed.
Had my first real yoga class in over a month (I have just been doing my own) and it was nice. Did abs also. Just back from a nice walk with the dog and husband. It’s a lovely day, nice breeze to keep the heat down.
Blood sugar during the day remains the same….high fives and low sixes…day 8 now of zero carbs. Giving blood tomorrow, something I truly enjoy doing. The goodies they try to feed you are always tempting, but I’m bringing some electrolytes and a few beef sticks (zero carbs, grass fed)
