What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

A sad, but expected, 6.5. Have started antibiotics for the diverticulitis so things should improve. I should have known something was wrong.
I did go to the gym for a slow walk (too painful when I go fast) and a very easy yoga class…no problems.
I’ll still, and always, be low carb (usually very low) as it is important and does keep me in a safe place. Today I had a wee treat. I said I wouldn’t but….the peaches….they were so fresh, local and perfectly ripe I just had to. I ate about one third of a peach with a bit of yogurt after my zero carb lunch….not too bad. It was amazing….no regrets.
 
4.9 today! been a wee while since in the 4's after waking :O pool was like sardines yesterday instead mowed front and back lawn managed and broke my strimmer half way around doing the edges ... no idea what i managed to do to it can't get the head off to insert more strimmer wire.. messier than usual but hey with any luck one of the last cuts of the season, brightside end of gardening season... comes sales might be able to pick up a nice cheap one better breaking now than having to buy at the start of the season

going to try the pool this morning again ... have more faith today Might be a little quieter.. change over day
 
@flonvic that naughty step is often very overcrowded. Some of us wondering what we did to deserve the high readings and several others wondering what on earth is going on with seemingly un-deserved results.
This morning I had a welcome 6.0 but with the weekend looming I expect several visits to the naughty step, so see you there.
 
Morning All 8.2 yesterday was 9.1 due to snack of Marmite oatcakes early evening. I also had a scoop of ice cream which I always vowed to restrict to holidays. It seems the worse my numbers the more inclined I am to throw the towel in. Today’s another day I suppose.

4.1...........made sure I drank plenty of water yesterday, so maybe that helped.
