Newbie with my first test on monitor... I didn't realise that I should test 1st thing as soon as I woke, just read that on page 1 of this thread a few mins ago, so my numbers may be inaccurate after waking at 8:15 and walking the kids to school, 5-10 mins walk each way, and tested when I got home.
I tested at 11.4 this morning, last week my test at the chemist showed 14.8 after waking around 7:00, kicking around the house for a while having a smoke at 8:30 (i didn't know, I'm new) then driving 20 mins to the chemist.
Similar circumstances as far as morning routine etc. and I'm down 3.4 so looks like diet could be heading in the right direction.
6.9, I'm used to better. I was pretty much hovering around 10 all day yesterday and it took 8 hours sleep to get rid.
35g of oats for breakfast and 2 hours later I'm back at 10. Appointment with nurse booked as I don't fancy a day like yesterday half dozing off and feeling not the best. Doesn't my pancreas realise I have work to do
