What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Bg 13.8 @ 06.48 am

Got to work to eat breakfast @ 08.52 am & Bg 18 !!!!!!

Must be the pint of larger at the game last night !!

Also woke up at silly o'clock like I'd been swimming

16.0 this morning...................OMG ?!

I have my 6 months check at Hospital today and get my HAB1C results

Lets hope for some better news than the last few days !

Do most Type 2's post their fasting readings in this thread as well as the one for Type 2's only (Type 2's - What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning). Is there likely to be a difference between a typical Type 1 FBG and a Type 2 FGB?

At a rough guess, Type 2 s will tend to be lower. It's easier for them to get "normal" rates. But that's only a tendency. I'm type 1.

So, even with having to inject insulin Type 1's cannot expect BGs as low as well-controlled Type 2's? If that is the case, why does the 'acceptable' level for Type 2's have to be so low. If the safe level for a Type 1 is higher surely that same level would be safe for Type 2's. Maybe I have to read some more.

My initial question was in which Thread should I be posting my fasting BG? Is the other thread valuable if it contains a mix of 1's and 2's?
