What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

તમે બધા મારા બધા માટે ખુશ દિવસ સનશાઇન મારા સુંદર ડાયાબિટીક કિરણો. This morning 3 little tomcats came locking on my door. One had a fiddle, one has a drum and one had a 4.8 stuck to its bum. My blood sugars are 4.8mmols. Hope you all have a purrrrrrrrfect day folks
 


Today's spectacular sunrise.

Daybreak has always been my favorite part of the day, the renewal of light bringing with it the promise of a fresh start, slates wiped clean, a celestial absolution of past sins, a sacred covenant of hope reborn.

By comparison, the liver dump that caused my fasting glucose of 4,6 to become 5,7 after my morning 5km walk seems inconsequential.

So nice. I love dawn, and dusk. The light is muted, and things seem half awake half asleep. Maybe I'll dream of there as I sleep.

Still under 7 though, Phil, so you’re still on track.
I hope the stress and the need for comfort eating go away (yes, we all know better, but it’s very hard not to do it at times). You’ll soon be back to your normal chirpy low numbers again, I’m sure.
5.5 for me today.
 
5.3 today things settling down here now.
The stress over the last few days was I think a reaction to the passing, over the weekend of Keiran's paternal Grand mother due to Vascular Dementia caused by her uncontrolled T2 Diabetes.

It's when something like that happens the reality of just how serious Diabetes can be is forcibly brought home to you.

So do please take care of your selves dear people.
