What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

It seems as if I’m allergic to metformin as had normal, slow release, and extra slow as well so have been taken off of it and put on a different tablet called sitagliptin

Staying over night. My appointment is at Toronto General, and we’re staying at the Delta Chelsea which is right next to it. Just have to figure out where to eat.

There’s loads of places on yonge street but there again it is a bit long

Hi@lxarix Have a good journey to Toronto tomorrow and I wish you a good outcome to your legs and feet problems, take care. Best Wishes to you Kathleen

Urghhhhhhhhhhhhh...Monday already...woke at 04:30...house freezing...I'm freezing...weather is spiteful today...opened the garden door a smidgeon...just to let the cat out...driving wind & rain...amazed he went out...taking comfort in my first cup of coffee...can't underestimate the power of coffee (for me)...woke to a 4.6.

Haven't had a curry in so long...miss it...not sure I could eat it without rice...did you?
Cauliflower rice is a good substitute. You can whiz some up in a processor or buy it ready prepared in most big supermarkets now.
I find it's best fried to dry it out a bit, and maybe add some coconut oil and spices if you aren't keen on taste of cauliflower.

Prem...never been a lover of Cauliflower...or veggies per se...but...did try it...from the minute I opened the packet...couldn't tolerate it...the smell got to me first I'm afraid..it was all down hill from there...I reverted right back to my childhood...sitting in front of my mother & a plate of veggies...her saying it's good for you...me refusing point blank to eat them...a bit like the 'stand off' in one of those awful old western movies...I never did eat them.
