What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

The second engine smashed our gate and a large chunk of magnolia tree and made the grass look even worse but they were responding to what could have been a rapidly developing tragedy. Having raced up the stairs for bath towels set my arthritis off and I cant walk today. But you know what I got off lightly.
Annoyed about the BG number though.
Take care everyone, throw out those old camper gas you use in a power cut and buy a fire blanket or tank. Stupid.

Thanks @trick60 and also @karen8967. We had a power cut and I got out the old camping gas put a new cylinder in and put it on the granite island but when I switched it on it was reluctant to light though the gas was hissing and then Boom. Only we damped it down so we could turn the gas off with tongs the gas cylinder was so hot it would have gone boom in our faces. I was very shook up yesterday but better today.

Sounds like that might be a good idea. Is it just the FBG you’re having a problem with?

It was shocking Goonergal...as for the FBI investigation likely that was ordered to salve their consciences make it look good...it's not a criminal investigation...they have no mandate to summons witnesses or documents of any relevance...any interviews will be entirely voluntary...we have to appreciate there are two sides to every story...unless the FBI are empowered to undertake a full thorough investigation it's doubtful we will get a balanced view ofw hat happened...a week for an investigation of that magnitude is outrageous.

@Bubbsie I agree about the Trump/Kavanaugh thing. How much more satisfactory, just and decent it would have been if they had done the 'proper' investigation at the right point before this damaging, undignified and disgraceful public spectacle happened.

I was horrified geeful...watching the 'proceedings' how on earth could they justify that public circus….a shameful indictment on their system...I doubt the FBI investigation will be much different since they are limited with time & the scope of their investigation.

OMG PenguinMum...sod the FBG number it just a relief to hear you're all in one piece...it must have terrifying...thank goodness you reacted so quickly...got that fire out.
