What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning All. A very acceptable 5.3 at 0800. Out to lunch with some old friends today so need to be careful. Glad to hear the hypos are retreating, long may it last.
@ianpspurs glad you slept better. Was it the nightcap? The good thing about a nightcap is its acceptable to be solitary unlike fizz.
@Bubbsie glad you got home safely. Horrid driving in that weather.
@shelley262 hope all goes well with your mum today. Dont forget to look after you too!
Have a great Saturday everyone. Stay well, stay safe and hypo free.

Great number @PenguinMum you must be delighted. No nightcap. Could be just plain tired or 3 meals or putting my foot down with a firm hand an eating an evening meal at a sensible time for me. Traditional fen clock obviously still hardwired into me - 5.30ish seems to be when I am programmed to be fed.

Good morning folks, a 7.5 today, but I'm going to work that off, I've already been to the builders merchants twice because I forgot my wallet, set the fire and cooked breakfast, off to rip out younger daughters bathroom walls ceilings et al, and refit all. Looking forward to the challenge. Also keeps me out of the larder all weekend.

Good morning all. 4.5 today. Up early to catch a train to my Dad’s - unusually for me I could have slept longer. Have a good weekend all. @Cumberland @karen8967 and @philchap1 hope you will be hypo free. I can’t begin to imagine what it’s like having to cope with that.

Thank you @Goonergal

Unfortunately I awoke at 6am with a 3.5

I’m fine now

I wish for you a good weekend and that goes for everyone

Morning all. The sleep elf found his mojo but stole some from the fbg goblin so 5.2 - me and the diabetes Orc about square today. Talking of Orcs, I really don't fancy Eddie Jones' shower against the ABs (and probably the ref) but Julie and MIL like the Haka and rugby generally so I shall be forced to watch.
Sympathy to the type 1s who seem to have fallen victim to a concerted attack on their wellbeing in yesterday's #hypogateday @Cumberland, @karen8967 and @philchap1

Ian thank you

So sorry for you @Cumberland. Was the missing prescription meant to deal with those kin of issues?

Hi Ian
No nothing to do with the prescription

Going back to Tesco today to pick it up
I need replacement medicine for Monday for various things
I use a weekly pill box and fill it up on a Sunday evening ready for the week ahead

Cheers
Ian

We have to find what works for us individually and then be prepared to mix it up when Diabetes Diva throws a tantrum. In my case go with the flow and expect the unexpected then I wont be too disappointed. Good luck to you, keep at it.
