What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

@dunelm I also got a Contour Next One meter through the post, totally forgot about the quiz/competition thing I’d filled in so was quite perplexed when it arrived.
Like others have said, it’s good but at £20 for 50 strips it’s too expensive to use full time.

Oh dear. Still, it might generate a blistering amount of interest on flea bay. I can see a robust bidding war on the horizon, resulting in a handsome 50p profit - don’t mention the cost of peripherals though.

good morning all :)

4.7 today

It's rather windy here this morning ;) and it lashed it down again last night, sounded like pebbles hitting the skylights.

We have to go to fit the new element to mum's oven today but I'm hoping to get a visit over to Dornoch to have a look at 'fibre fest' later.

Mr. gee points out that I don't actually have a 'fibre' shortage, I already have flax seed, knitting wool and internet :hilarious:

Hope your day goes well :)

I've been wondering what other people paid for different brands of strips. I just found mine on Amazon. OneTouch Ultra -- 50 strips for $41. (About £30?)
. I'm happy with out of date r near out of date strips so I'll go for cheap as I can strips. The most I've ever paid is £14 per 50 maybe $20 ?
