Oh I did! At the high school I went to there was a room with a row of handbasins and lots of coat racks. On the door it said 'Ablutions'. I had never heard the word either. That was 75 years ago so it's not a new word.

English is not my mother's tongue, I learn words every day and indeed Google is a good help!

Mine was quiche but I did take the crust off and no,I didn't eat it after I had eaten the filling,but I did follow it with apple pie and a bit() of mixed fruit pie with greek yogurt.Do I feel guilty? Yes but too late now.

A food chart is a good idea and will help but for me a padlock with no key would be more effective.

7.9 no surprises and was to be expected. Like many over the weekend bad diet but leaving the pies, cakes and high carb goodies as just a distant memory and a bad image in the rear view mirror. Happy days.

Happy Monday Morning, every day is a struggle to keep my bg under 5.5 mmol/L in the non diabetic range. Try not to watch Food Network. I don't eat outside. I keep on looking for getting kicks out of life somewhere else besides food. Have a nice day everyone.
