4.66 mmol/L at 5 AM this morning. Happy Sunday. Almost end of April, still cold weather, cloudy. Wife and sons enjoyed Chinese food last night for dinner. Chinese food has been off limits for me for over 10 years. Have a nice day everyone.

Here many people have water tanks which rely on rain to supply their houses. They are now full as it’s been tipping it down for several days.
This morning the rains stopped
Libre : five point one on waking , currently five point eight
Over the last few days it’s mainly been an egg diet , with many small add ins which might sound boring. I’ve enjoyed it though and it’s kept my glucose on track .

Ended up taken to pizza hut for an early birthday dinner. Grabbed a cheeky 1 slice of pizza alongside rather full salad bar trip to their buffet lots of veg.

Morning All 7.9 have been away to Ireland to visit brother and decided not to test. Lots of good fish but could not resist Irish brown soda bread! Having my bloods done in just over 2 weeks so need to carb detox pronto. Hugs to everyone in pain hope you find a way to make it better.

7.5 today, 6.9 yesterday. Fantastic weather and freedom to do a few hours walking while lazy wife reads and soaks up the sun. Evening meals not low carb friendly and beer consumption increase due to heat. However breakfast good to compensate. Thankfully just had blood test and awaiting results so can go just a little bit off track.

First full day of testing for me. Don't like having to fiddle with sharp things while only half awake but need at least a few morning readings to see what's happening.

Last night around 7 pm I ate 3 Boiled eggs, walnuts and one whole Kiwi with skin and half a cup of black coffee. Seems like a good experiment. Today there is a lot of morning fog, ready for another sunny day. Have a nice day everyone.

Not impressed with my FBG results over the last few days 7.3 this morning and the same yesterday. Not ill, but I am very anxious at the moment. In an attempt to get things under control I have started a food diary. Its not that I am eating things I shouldn't, but I am eating too much food in general. and have put on weight which is not helpful or useful. I wish I still had the food diary I wrote 6 years ago when I first started this journey and my motivation was strong, it would certainly have been useful now. Will keep pushing for an improvement in the coming days.
