What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.1 this snowy morning. Yes, more of the white stuff. Maybe 5cm last night…and very wet and heavy. It’s around 2 degrees so it’s a slimy mess. Stayed home and did housework before heading out to shovel. Did the deck, patio, trail to my gate, and along the trail. A good hour and a half. There was some dog play involved also. I’m now planning a huge lunch! Yippee.

4.7 libre. breakfast short walk. making start on wrapping some of the few xmas presies got already. still got loads to buy .. doing that tomorrow (queue dependant may need seperate shopping trip). dragging daughter along tomorrow to get some more things, her own fault if she doesnt like queues been asking her to do for umpteen weeks before shops get busy also said could send a list likes of amazon shopping basket getting too close to xmas now for my liking usually would of finished all xmas shopping by november and wrapped at least half. So disorganised this year.

7.3 today, like others having to go out shopping today. Not my favourite hobby and even worse near Xmas! However has to be done and might even get "brownie points" if I can resist moaning about prices and complaining about carb values listed on back of packets. I am not a betting person but I would not put money on the day finishing well.

A friends sixtieth birthday required my presence for a pub supper last night

A new pub in town attached to a brewery. I passed on their award winning beer but downed several glasses of red along with a nicely cooked steak

Owing to a long taxi wait I walked home briskly… stayed up very late chatting to family on different time zones.

I woke with a five point five on libre

5.1 libre. Dry at the moment :) breakfast, school run then seeing physcologist 6th appt with them for needlephobia/blood tests. Todays appt is the final one max of 6 allowed for primary care physcologists within highland and islands health board area apparently. Really don't see the point of seeing them today as its a 'discharge appt' to me thats a waste of time. Recap some leaflets info (which have and know). The only thing which was useful was the ability for them to prescribe above the 'usual' amount of tablets that a gp can to try help settle nerves. other techniques such as breathing and trying to keep self occupied was aware of and do try. I've to get back to the diabetic consultant by end of next week to give reply if i'm upto teplizumab iv which can extend honeymoon period for t1/lada. At the moment don't think I could tolerate it :(
the "hug" was for your frustrations but its a "winner" once again for blood control. :)

Mix of low 6's and the odd 5 last few days . Also been dropping into low 3's when out and about and feeling woozy ( perfer boozey ) so might have to consider taking snack with me .

winner for low 6's and odd 5's over the last few. hugs for the lows good idea taking something to treat hypo's. whats your favourite goto? i found swapping between treatment types helped, as soon got fed up same jelly babies over and over again.

5.16 mmol/L at 7a.m. Happy Friday! It's a cold sunny morning. Nothing to complain about--complaining wouldn't help anyway. Have a nice day everyone.
