What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

mine was 9 this morning, but has ranged from 4.5-7.6 throughout the day/night which I am so pleased with, seen dsn today my hba1c is now down to 76, she is very pleased at this drop, it is all thanks to the people on this forum who gives sound advice and shares their experiences with everyone, I listened to you about low carb and gi, which I now understand, changed my food to a lot less starchy carbs over the weekend and the drop in my bg levels has dropped so much I have been able to decrease my insulin. hopefully within the next month or two I should be able to have the op that I have needed for the past 20 months. thankyou.

mine was 12 this am, it was 7.8 before bed last night, I had 2 richtea biscuits as I was told by dsn that below 8 at bedtime that was what I should have??? what is everyone else's views on this??

Ok, so are you lchf regime and whats your hba1c ( if you have had one done) plus we can help you get those figures down ,what is your bmi?

Hi I've not had a hba1c, I'm still awaiting to find out my type 1/2.

Doctor has started me on Metmorphin this morning I have cut out my carbs especially the starchy ones and training hard 6lbs lost already so in a positive mood and direction, sneakily doing a few weights as well haha I am a lover of great food so this is difficult I like my posh restaurants... I'm just being a little more specific when I make my choice...

I have cut out the alcohol which is a big ask for me I work offshore so go weeks without but definitely a heavy social drinker at home but gone completely for now maybe a few gin and diet tonics in the future

Just started testing myself 2 hours after a meal to find out what foods work for me and don't so a long way to go but there are much worse things to have in this world...

I appreciate your time
