What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.7. Do you think the heats effecting our readings as we are all higher..!!

9.7 had too many sarnys when i came home last night from work was starving :P

5.0 this morning day44/56 of ND lost to date 10.7kg. Average fasting 5.0 and average 2 hours after eating 6.1.

3.2
Didn't feel hypo, but could tell I was doing everything slower than normal.
4.8 after breakfast, and had 12g instead of 8g of carbs. Will have to watch for compensatory high during the morning.

I blame this on nearly swallowing a wasp in my cup of tea in the garden yesterday evening, and ripping a deep scratch on my ankle with a murderous bramble.

5.5 - it's normally 5.5 - 6.1 since I cut down the carbs 3 years ago. Then it was averaging 6.8.

I'm amazed - last night our choir held a fund raising quiz night with fish/chip supper so I expected to be high. I went to bed with a reading of 8.8.
you have likely increased your insulin sensitivity with your long term low carb diet, keep up the good work, However I have found that it is the second day after a high carb mel where you can struggle with fasting levels. You can get away with it now and then but three years of handwork to increase insulin sensitivity can be undone in three days
