Collection of containers. Collection of container lids. This does not mean the lids fit the containers.
Animated man bag. This one can move when you least expect it, particularly in the middle of the night. It slips off the varnished kitchen chain and thunks onto the laminate floor at 3am. I have a theory that a gang of mice come out to play about this time and all stand on it, nay, jump up and down on it until it slides off the chair.
We are tea drinkers too. I've just started collecting a variety of teas in pretty tins to display in the new kitchen.
A beautiful bouquet of flowers in a vase of water keeping fresh ready to deliver to my 92 year old mum tomorrow.
In my kitchen tonight: three different dinners for Christmas Day because I couldn't think what I might be in the mood for; now I've been invited to a community BYOF feast so I may leave the dinners in the fridge-freezer and just pack a peanut butter sandwich to take wirh me.
Thank [email protected] We will be visiting mum in her nursing home today as they were fully booked for Christmas day. She doesn't know me anymore due to her Alzheimers but I'm hoping her flowers and other gifts will make her smile. On Christmas day there will be just hubby and myself to feed. Enjoy your Christmas food whatever you decide upon and have a happy Christmas time.
And in my kitchen today I spy with my little eye ... Half a can of cat food awaiting kitty lunchtime, A half-empty mug of cocoa that replaced the coffee that filled the mug at breakfast time, A sink full of dishes I keep forgetting to wash, A packet of LED mini candles that I may switch on tonight, And thankfully no mini snakes today!
A very old dishwasher someone gave me, which turned out to work just fine! Sadly, no picric acid, so I won't be buying this interesting new toy! https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/vintage-glucose-meter.186330/#post-2484894
A "new" fridge that was installed earlier this week to replace the leaking old one. This one is bigger, brighter, and has door handles!
