When did you first have a computer

I had one back in the early 80's. I used to play Jet Set Willy for hours on end. I've had one of one sort or another ever since and am completely self taught, can't be bothered with manuals or tutorials. I just told myself it wouldn't blow up no matter which keys or buttons I pressed, so I just worked out for myself how to use it.

I don't have a laptop, although I do have a tablet for holidays. My phone is for phone calls and texts. I love my PC with its big screen and super fast broadband. I have an office at home, with a large solid oak computer desk and a comfy chair, printer/scanner and TV.

Ahhh well :hilarious: therein lies the million $ question :dead:
I have serious doubts about the first 'apparent' landing.

Me too, just can't see that they could transmit photos back to earth in those days when my hubby can't send me a photo or any contact at all from the peak district-lol :)

Then there's the shadows, the flag, the shoe marks..

I'm on the "no, it never happened" side...:)

Recently NASSA has been testing what getting a man through the Van Allen radiation belts might do and the big question is .... well surely you know the answer to that from going through them in the sixties no?
On top of that a new belt has recently been discovered that has been explained as being like the defence sheild on Star Trek about seven thousand miles out.
Protects the earth fro all sorts of stuff but getting a man through it without him cooking might not be possible but but but .... we went through that are on the way to the moon and ......
Since thoise days no astronaughts have travelled into outer space.
All those shuttle trips and even the sopace station are in near earth orbit.
So the astronaughts for some reason only go round and round and round these days .... not actually going anywhere .... why?
About five years ago a shuttle headed further out than normal to do some kind of experiments and there was something of a panic when the astronaughts on board started seeing x-rays of each other.
They had to turn the ship round rapidly and head back closer in becuase the Van Allen raditaion belts move and they had moved closer than expected and the ship was being bombarded with x-rays so did man really go to the moon ......
